How will I affect change in the world
As I turn new page in the story of Brittany I remember a lot of what I have already been through but I still look forward to the future. As I said in my previous post I have found once again my passion for changing the world and is there a better place to take this on than a university? No! At university I will be meeting many new people and have the opportunity to join new groups and committees that will allow me to go explore even deeper into the issues I feel strongest about. I hope to educate people about the forgotten issues such as human trafficking and water scarcity. These are the issues that so wrong;y but so often get pushed to the side. I hope to take classes where I will learn about these issues and talk to the professors who are already experts on them. I guess I will just try and educate my self as much as I can and take every opportunity to pass my knowledge onto others. Education, I believe, is the key.

I'm also really excited to head off to university and learn about others' opinions on the issues we've chatted about in class. We'll have great, intellectual conversations at university! I look forward to taking classes similar to World Issues and educating others on the topics we've learned in class. I admire your own goal (to speak about water scarcity and human trafficking) and wish you the very best!
ReplyDeleteBrittany this is a great post! When we go to university we will be able to hear about new groups and organizations that we can be a part of. Educating people is such an important key, and will be beneficial in changing the world.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you completely education is key, even if it sounds cheesy, it's true. We need that chance to learn more and to do more. What better place than university? You have more options and chances to make that change and people will have more interest in these things and you will make those connections that will stay with you for life.
